Bitfinex has rolled out Version 1.116, an update packed with new features and improvements aimed at refining the user experience on its trading platform, as announced on June 4, 2025. This version introduces key changes to account settings, user interface enhancements, and a series of bug fixes.
New Features
The latest update includes several new features designed to streamline user interaction. Notably, the account settings have been updated to display balances in the sub-accounts list, providing users with a more comprehensive view of their holdings. Additionally, a feedback form has been added to the logout page, inviting user insights and suggestions. Upon login, users will now encounter a ‘Terms’ pop-up for permitted beneficiaries, enhancing transparency and compliance. For Brazilian customers, the SWAPX deposit fee has been adjusted to 1%, aligning with local financial regulations.
Platform Improvements
Version 1.116 also brings a host of improvements to the Bitfinex platform. The default sorting for the positions table has been optimized, and the ‘Select all’ option for orders is now disabled if no rows are available for selection. The update also includes a safeguard against resetting settings to default when they are already set as such. To enhance security, a message now appears on the first withdrawal to a new address, and the date of the last withdrawal is displayed if the address was previously used.
Additional enhancements include sorting wallet totals by their USD equivalent and integrating open positions into the portfolio exposure chart. The sub-accounts creation error message has been refined to highlight invalid email entries, and the character limit for U2F device names has been adjusted to improve usability.
Bug Fixes
Bitfinex has addressed several bugs in this update. The OTC TIF error for past dates has been resolved, along with fixing search result links in the header for deposits and withdrawals. The date filter in the ledger entries dialogue has been corrected, and links in the Balances widget for USDT0 transactions have been fixed. Other fixes include adjustments to the date picker dropdown style, correction of the leverage input field display, and improvements to the Wallets filter form validation.
These updates, according to blog.bitfinex.com, demonstrate Bitfinex’s commitment to enhancing the trading experience through continuous platform optimization and user feedback integration.
