Conflux (CFX) is set to end its FC token withdrawal services by June 30, 2025, transitioning remaining tokens to CFX through a one-way swap.
In a significant move, the Conflux (CFX) Foundation has announced the impending cessation of its FC token withdrawal services, effective June 30, 2025. This decision aligns with the foundation’s strategic plan to manage the remaining FC token supply, according to the Conflux Forum.
Transition to CFX
As part of this transition, approximately 3.52 million FC tokens will be minted and subsequently converted to CFX through a one-way swap. The foundation has confirmed that the FC minting authority will be permanently revoked following this conversion. The newly converted CFX tokens will be staked in the ABC PoS pool, thereby bolstering community governance efforts.
Withdrawal Services Timeline
The Conflux Bounty Platform, which went offline on April 14, 2025, had previously facilitated FC withdrawals via email communication. With the current announcement, users are urged to finalize their FC withdrawals before the June 30 deadline. Post this date, the email channel will cease accepting withdrawal requests, and any unclaimed FC tokens will only be eligible for a 1:1 swap to CFX.
Impact on Users
The foundation acknowledges the potential inconvenience this transition may cause to its users and has expressed gratitude for their understanding and continued support. Users are encouraged to complete their transactions promptly to avoid any disruptions.
This strategic initiative underscores Conflux’s commitment to refining its tokenomics and enhancing the overall stability and governance of its network.
